If you are a fan of opera, then you can buy tickets to go and see one of the many performances that are held there every year. It can be a little pricey to buy tickets to see a performance, but once you have done it, you will be happy knowing that you have had a once-in-a-lifetime experienced and seen the best of what Australia has to offer.
Botanic Gardens
Throughout the year, Australia is an incredibly hot place with an incredibly humid climate. This means that many species of flowers are able to thrive throughout the year. There are some beautiful flower species that you can’t find anywhere else and Australia is incredibly keen to show them off.
If you are going through Victoria as a part of your travels, then you absolutely have to stop off at the Royal Botanic Gardens. These gardens have a brilliant display of all of the beautiful floristry that can be found throughout Australia. You can get lost in these gardens for hours and it truly is a fantastic day out. If you bring a picnic with you, then you can settle down in one of the many brilliant locations that are set up throughout the garden.
The Cairns Esplanade Lagoon
As you know, Australia is an incredibly hot country and if you are going there from a country that does not have a similar temperature, then it is likely that you are going to be incredibly overwhelmed by the heat.
There is no better way to escape the hot weather than enjoying some nice cold water. I recommend visiting this man-made lagoon as it is a great way to enjoy the hot weather.
